Celebrity Golf Outing Supports Boys & Girls Club

The 8th Annual Celebrity Golf Outing presented by Jim Olson Motors exists to ensure great futures for Boys & Girls Club members in Door County. The date is June 6 at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor at noon. Cost for a single golfer is $225, including greens fees, cart, range balls, lunch, a golf-themed gift, and an evening celebration. Another option is the Grand Trolley Tour departing Horseshoe Bay Golf Club at 11 am with four stops planned. Lunch at the Glacier Ledge Restaurant combined with a tour through Door Artisan Cheese starts the adventure. The tour heads north to Edgewood Orchard Galleries, Waseda Farms, and winds up at Simon Creek Winery. Trolley guests return to Egg Harbor in late afternoon. Cost is $90. The two groups come back together at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club about 5 pm where they are met with glasses of champagne and a sumptuous buffet. Wrapping up the evening’s festivities is a live/silent auction, emceed by Bill Jartz, featuring fascinating and rare items.

Money raised from the golf outing participants and sponsors, trolley tour, and auctions are designated toward programming costs for the more than 500 Boys & Girls Club members.
