Cellcom Awards Scholarship to Gibraltar’s Alexander Prust

Cellcom has selected 16 graduating high school seniors from across its service area to receive $750 scholarships, including Alexander Prust from Gibraltar High School.

“Our scholarship application emphasizes community involvement, which is a core value of our business. Each of our recipients has gone above and beyond in his or her community to make a difference. We are honored to applaud the efforts of these exceptional students and support their continuing education,” said Brighid Riordan, director of public affairs at Cellcom.

In addition to community involvement, recipients were selected on the basis of academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school activities, honors, work experience and an essay on community impact.

Applicants are required to reside within a county in Wisconsin or Michigan where Cellcom operates and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or technical school.
