Cellcom Offers Cell Phone Recycling

Cellcom reminds area residents that all Cellcom retail stores and authorized agents accept retired cell phones, PDAs and accessories year-round during regular business hours.

In addition to diverting hazardous chemicals and e-waste from landfills, Cellcom donates the proceeds from its recycling program to local charities that create healthier communities.

“Since 2004, Cellcom’s recycling program has generated more than $75,000 in contributions to charities throughout Northeastern Wisconsin,” said Brighid Riordan, Public Affairs Director for Cellcom.

Cellcom is a subsidiary of Nsight, a locally owned provider of communications services throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

More than 50 authorized agents also are located throughout northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
