Ceremony Celebrates and Dedicates Baileys Harbor Community Mural

Celebrating past, present, and future, the Baileys Harbor Community Mural on the side of Nelson’s Shopping Center was officially dedicated during a ceremony held Sept. 28 in conjunction with Autumn Fest.

Gary Nelson, owner of Nelson’s Shopping Center; Nancy Rafal, coordinator of the Baileys Harbor Community Mural Project; Ram Rojas, mural artist; and Leann Despotes of the Baileys Harbor Historical Society all spoke about the project which features representations of Emma Toft, Brann Bros Store, Cana Island Lighthouse, local flora, fauna, and much more.
