Certified Tourism Ambassador Class on Washington Island Sept. 21

The Door County Visitor Bureau (DCVB) is holding a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) class Sept. 21, 9 am – 2 pm, at Trueblood Performing Arts Center (TPAC) on Washington Island. The Door County CTA Program is a multifaceted program that serves to increase regional tourism by inspiring front-line employees and volunteers to turn each visitor encounter into a positive experience.

In order to become a Door County CTA, an individual must complete the required pre-class reading, attend a half-day classroom session and complete an open book examination. Upon successful completion, the participants will earn the CTA designation and receive a CTA certificate and lapel pin. The cost is $25 per person.
