Changes in Store for Baileys Harbor Fourth of July Parade

This year’s Fourth of July in Baileys Harbor will be a little different than in years past. Highway 57 will be closed at 9 am from County E to Ahrens Rd. There will be sufficient parking at the Baileys Harbor Rec Park with a trolley running back and forth before and after the parade until 1:30 pm. There will also be a parking area at the corner of County EE/F and a trolley will run before the parade only.

County F will also be closed to the intersection of Guy Street from 6 pm on July 3 to 6 pm on July 4. There will be no through traffic allowed and Gerdman Park will not be available for boat trailer parking. Food and craft vendors will be set up on County F and the band will be set up further up the road.

The parade will travel down the highway from Summit Road starting at 10 am and end at the intersection of Park Road and Highway 57. The road will remain open so no one can stand on the highway as they have done in years past.
