Charlotte Lukes to Present ‘Tribute to Roy’

The Door County Master Gardeners invited Charlotte Lukes to present “Wild Orchids of Door County, a Tribute to Roy Lukes” and “Spring in Door County” as part of their 2018 Gardening Education Program. The program takes place Feb. 20, 7 pm at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay.

“Wild Orchids of Door County” will show the chronological blooming of many species that Roy photographed during a period of nearly 40 years. “Spring in Door County” highlights the wildflowers, birds, animals, butterflies and mushrooms of the spring season.

Attendees will walk away refreshed and anticipating spring with all traces of cabin fever abolished. Naturalist Charlotte Lukes is a renowned Door County expert whose programs are filled with beautiful photographs. Her programs are always well attended and informative.
