Check out the Night Sky at Crossroads Observatory

The Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay will host a variety of programs throughout February.

Feb.18 at 7 pm, “Night Sky Viewing at the Observatory” will be open to the pubic. Members of DPAS will be in the StarGarden with telescopes and astronomical binoculars available for visitors.

Feb. 19 and 26 from 1 – 3 pm, Friends of Crossroads will distribute ski, boots, poles and snowshoes free of charge for “White Exercise.” The program will depend on the amount of snow.

Feb. 25 at 3 pm, Clifford Orsted, president of Door Landscape and Nursery, will present a Wild Ones Lecture. “Getting Acquainted with Lesser Known & Very Useful Native Plants of Door County” will showcase a slide presentation featuring native plants which do well in Door County gardens and landscapes.
