Cherry and Dairy Board Seats Open

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is accepting nominations for seats on the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin’s board of directors and the Wisconsin Cherry Board. Nominations for both are due by March 31.

Nine seats from eight districts, including Door and Kewaunee counties, are up for election for the Dairy Farmers board. Eligible nominees must be active dairy producers who sell milk into commercial channels and live in one of the affected districts.

One Wisconsin Cherry Board seat is available.

Nomination forms will be sent to eligible candidates. They must sign, notarize and postmark their completed form and include signatures from at least five other eligible producers/growers. Nomination materials for the Dairy Farmers board are available at wisconsindairy.org/board-of-directors/elections. Request printed copies by emailing [email protected].
