Cherry Festival July 27 at Seaquist Orchards

Seaquist Orchards Farm Market (seaquistorchards.com) is holding its Cherry Festival on July 27, 11 am – 3 pm. There will be a pit-spit competition, dunk tank, jump house, live music by the Mecan River Ramblers, On the Fritz concessions vendor, face painting, bubbles, coloring contest, pie-eating competitions (11:45 am – 12:15 pm) and water-balloon toss (3 pm). Some of these activities cost $1. Orchard wagon tours will depart hourly, 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. The wagon will load 10 minutes prior to departure; the tour takes 40 minutes. Tour costs are $6 per person 16 and older, or $10 for two tickets; $4 per person for ages three to 15, or $10 for three tickets; and free for ages two and younger.
