Chicago’s Second City Comedy Troupe Takes the Peg Egan Stage

Hilarious, spontaneous, topical, and insightful – Second City is the most famous brand in live comedy, and on July 25 at 7 pm the Second City Comedy Troupe will take the stage at the Peg Egan Performing Art Center’s Sunset Concert Series.

Performing a blend of classic scenes from their nearly 50-year archive, material ripped from the days headlines and their trademark improvisation, a night with The Second City is a laugh filled, once in a lifetime event.

In addition to its live stage shows, Second City boasts the largest school of improvisational comedy in the world; a thriving corporate communications division; an exclusive deal with Norwegian Cruise Lines; and a television and film division that recently sealed a development deal with NBC/Universal.

The performance is free and open to the public at the the Peg Egan PAC on Church Street in Egg Harbor. The public is encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be provided by the Ladder House and Double Delight. In case of rain the concert will be held at the Paul J. Bertschinger Community Center in Egg Harbor.
