Child Care Grants for Essential Businesses

Supporting Children and Families Together, in partnership with Wisconsin’s nine Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (CCR&Rs), is offering the Partner Up! grant program, which will award $10 million in funding based on existing community child care needs throughout Wisconsin.

This program for essential businesses seeks to support partnerships between essential businesses that purchase slots with existing, regulated child care providers. The program’s funding can be used to increase staff compensation, pay expenses, reserve child care slots for local business employees, improve the quality of a child care program and more. Essential businesses are those defined in health care or public-health operations, human-services operations and essential infrastructure services.

CCR&Rs will work with interested businesses and child care programs in their regions and provide ongoing support to program participants. The CCR&R for Door County is Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. (fcrnew.org).

Applications will be accepted until 5 pm on April 4, but priority consideration will be given to submissions received by March 14.
