Child Care Town Hall Tuesday Night

United Way of Door County has been working with community members for the past 15 months to better understand the county’s child care system: its strengths, challenges and areas for improvement. Now the organization is hosting virtual, public events focused on the future of child care in Door County.

The second of two meetings (the first was held May 18) will take place Tuesday, May 25, 6:30-8 pm, as a town hall meeting with invited guests, including state Sen. André Jacque, Rep. Joel Kitchens and a member of Rep. Mike Gallagher’s staff. 

Community members will be able to share their experiences meeting child care needs, give their thoughts about how to improve our local child care system and discuss how the community can work with elected officials to address this high priority.
