Children Enjoyed Gibraltar Fire Department Activities during July Fourth Weekend

As part of the Gibraltar Fire Department public outreach on July 2, children were invited to spray water at a house front, knocking down simulated flames in various openings, using a small-scale fire hose and nozzle. Bob Volpe, EMT/firefighter serving with Ephraim and Gibraltar Fire Departments, assisted youngsters with the nozzle. In almost continuous operation for more than five hours, about 300 children participated in this activity.
