Chloe LaCrosse Earns $1,000 Grant from Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin

Southern Door High School sophomore Chloe LaCrosse earned a $1,000 State-Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) grant from the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin for her dairy-entrepreneurship SAE project. LaCrosse will use the grant money to buy a calf that has a great genetic background, which will enhance the herd of registered Holsteins she’s been developing during the past year.

Successful candidates completed a five-page application explaining their SAE program, how much funding they needed, the expected use of those funds, their goals for their SAE and their service in FFA and other school activities. LaCrosse is the daughter of Jeremy and Tracy LaCrosse.
