Christ Child Society Celebrates ‘Shower of Love’

The Door County Chapter of the Christ Child Society will celebrate their Shower of Love, along with the school children of John Bosco, on Dec. 5 during the 8:20 am Mass at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 25 N. Elgin Ave., Sturgeon Bay.

They encourage everyone to bring a newborn baby item. Especially needed this year are onesies, fitted crib sheets and diapers. These gifts will help provide a layette of essential items for newborns in need.

Following Mass, gather for a 10 am brunch at Samuelson’s Creek Pub and Grill. Cost of the brunch including coffee, tax and tip is $13. Call Kathy at 495.5857 with questions or if you have a donation but are unable to attend.
