Christa Wells at The Master’s Cup

The public is invited to an evening of live music with Christa Wells on Sept. 29 at The Master’s Cup Coffee House, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Wells will share her music at 6 pm, but the public is invited to arrive at 5 pm for a potluck picnic and games on the church lawn. Wells returns Sept. 30 to share her music in the public worship service at Prince of Peace at 9:30 am.

Wells is an American singer-songwriter based in Nashville with more than 15 years experience in the music industry. As an indie artist, Wells has released five albums, developing a signature alternative-pop sound that is fresh, soulful, and enduring. Her latest project, Velveteen (April 2018) chronicles her own journey through suffering, singing relentless hope across the wide spaces of loss.

Wells is passionate about encouraging and mentoring fellow artists. In addition to devoting regular time to one-on-one songwriting coaching, she also serves one week each summer on staff with Masterpiece Ministries, an arts camp for high school students.

Along with Nicole Witt, she co-founded a creative support community called Artist And, which hosts periodic songwriting and creative/spiritual retreats.

There will be a free-will donation to support Wells’s music and ministry. Prince of Peace is located at 1756 Michigan St., Sturgeon Bay.
