Christina Studebaker Named DCEDC Workforce Development Head

Christina Studebaker was announced as Door County Economic Development Corporation’s Workforce Development Project Manager. The hire fulfils DCEDC’s pledge to develop a position to assist connecting local employers with job opportunities and improve programming that connects students in area school districts with local career opportunities, “We are delighted to have Christina join DCEDC at this exciting time,” said DCEDC’s Executive Director Jim Schuessler. “Her breadth of professional experience will be beneficial as we both address the current workforce needs of our companies and help connect area students with the wide variety of career opportunities offered in Door County.”

For the past 13 years, Studebaker served as a vice president for ThemeVision LLC.

“I am excited to work with local businesses and the community to increase Door County’s skilled workforce, to work with local school districts to educate and prepare students for future opportunities in the county, and to contribute to the ongoing success of Door County,” Studebaker said. She purchased a home near Clark Lake more than a year ago and since that time has been seeking a way to use her communication, business development, and analysis skills to relocate to Door County permanently.
