Christmas by the Bay Coming Nov. 22-24

Join the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, Nicolet National Bank and the community to celebrate the start of the holidays during Christmas by the Bay, Nov. 22-24.


Start the festivities with live holiday music on Friday, Nov. 22, 6-8 pm, in Community Foundation Square on 3rd Avenue. A countdown will begin at 7 pm to light the Christmas tree. Submitted.

Enjoy free horse-drawn wagon rides around town Friday, 6-8 pm, weather permitting. While you shop and stroll the streets, members of the Sturgeon Bay High School City Rhythm Show Choir will spread holiday cheer along 3rd Avenue.

Children may send letters and wish lists to Santa via Santa’s mailbox outside the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, 36 S. 3rd Ave., beginning Nov. 22. A drop-off box for the Big Bundle Up campaign will also be available at the center.

Enjoy the Christmas by the Bay holiday parade Nov. 23, 10 am. To be in the parade, call 920.743.6246, email [email protected] or fill out the entry form at SturgeonBay.net. There will be a photo op with Santa at the Door County Historical Museum, 11 am – 2 pm; and wagon rides will continue throughout the day.

Spend more time with Santa on Nov. 24, 9-11 am, during a special breakfast at Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center. Reservations are requested; call 920.746.0700 to reserve your spot.
