Christy Braun Sets Swim Team Record

Christy Braun set a DCY swim team record in the 400 individual medley at the recent national swim meet. Braun placed sixth overall in the individual medley and ninth in the 200-meter breaststroke as she set another team record.

Julia Michalski, Cassie Rankin, Maggie Ripp and Stella Kersebet placed seventh in the 200 and 400 medley and eighth in the 200 free relay. 

On the boys side, Luke Bousley finaled for the first time at nationals in the 200 individual medley and just missed finals in the 100-meter breaststroke. 

The boys 200 free and 200 medley relay team of Bousley, Jacob Norton, Conner Thompson, Drew Rass and Ethan Almstadt placed ninth in both events.
