Chroma Gala

Jewelry by Aimee Rivka.

Plum Bottom Pottery and Gallery invites the community to its 9th annual summer art gala, “Chroma,” on July 12, 4 – 7:30 pm. See the newest work from more than 30 of Plum Bottom’s nationally collected artists while enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres. The garden is also at peak color and beauty while the gallery is full of new creations.

New artists and new media offer a colorful addition to Plum Bottom’s collection of artists. Indiana artist Sara Vanderkleed’s work will brighten up any space with exciting pops of color and texture. Leaded stained glass from Minnesota artist Josephine Geiger now graces the windows of Plum Bottom. Geiger is inspired by nature and captures the underlying architecture of a forest or crashing wave in glass. Her collection at Plum Bottom offers many sizes and color palettes to add the perfect accent to an entryway, bay window or window.

Classic Plum Bottom artists will also display new work for “Chroma.” Silversmith Amanda DeWitt continues to create dynamic, classic pieces to complete any ensemble. Ed Brogan is expanding his work with new wood combinations and shapes. Always colorful work from Aimee Rivka, including one-of-a-kind druzy and Larimer work, is now on display.

Plum Bottom is open daily May through October, 10 am – 5 pm. To visit go 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or five minutes south of Egg Harbor on Highway 42, then east one mile to 4999 Plum Bottom Road. For more information visit PlumBottomPottery.com.
