Chronic Pain Management Seminar

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs with an upcoming presentation on “Chronic Pain Management.” Come hear Paul Board, MD, speak on Jan. 25 at 4 pm at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay. Chronic pain is defined as pain lasting more than six months which can vary in intensity and may be associated with decreased functional ability. This kind of pain often takes an emotional as well as physical toll on a person. The goal of chronic pain management is usually to decrease symptoms and improve functional capacity, often requiring a team approach.

The Ministry also offers free blood pressure screenings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia’s Church at 5 pm and at the Northern Door YMCA on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:15 – 10:15 am. For more information visit NorthernDoorHealthWellness.com.
