Cider Pressing Party on Washington Island

On Oct. 6 and 7, the Washington Island Farm Museum is holding the annual Cider Pressing Party. From 10 am – 4 pm enjoy hot cider, cider brats, chili and hand-dipped caramel apples.

Activities include a silent auction of handmade baskets on Saturday (with highest bidders receiving awards at 3:30 pm), tractor wagon rides, old-fashioned children’s games, and there will be an opportunity to press your own 1/2-gallon of cider for $5.
