Cindy Weber Named CEO of Sunshine House

Cindy Weber was recently named the new president and CEO of Sunshine House. Weber is a Door County native and life-long resident of the area with a long history of giving back to the community and working with not-for-profit organizations. After owning and managing her family business in Sturgeon Bay for more than 20 years, Weber has spent the last nine years in a senior leadership position at the YMCA. In addition to her “day job,” she has held many leadership positions in the community with institutions such as the Door County Economic Development Corporation, the Chamber of Commerce, the visitor center, and Door County Women in Business, to name just a few.

Weber’s affiliations and ability to network will serve the organization well in continuing to manage the challenges and opportunities that Family Care brings with it. Sunshine House has entered into agreements with two Northeastern Wisconsin Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) that will allow the organization to continue to serve clients in the near and medium-term future.

In the meantime, Weber and the staff at Sunshine House will continue to provide excellent care and service while developing and seeking funding for programs that fulfill the needs of both current and future clients.
