Citizens’ Climate Lobby Holding Free Climate Advocate Training Session

The Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL, citizensclimatelobby.org) will hold a free climate-advocate training session for county residents Feb. 29, 9 am – 12 pm, at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor.

Dan Dieterich, Wisconsin co-coordinator, will lead the session, which will include information about climate legislation and how to support it. It will also teach the goals, methods and values of CCL, helping to launch a new Door County Chapter

CCL’s consistently respectful, nonpartisan approach to climate education is designed to create a broad, sustainable foundation for climate action across all geographic regions and political inclinations. Its goal is to focus on shared values rather than partisan divides, and to empower supporters to work in keeping with the concerns of their local communities. All are welcome to attend, and attendance is not a commitment.
