City Garbage Routes Delayed For Labor Day

City of Sturgeon Bay: Finance/Purchasing & Building Committees meet at 4 pm on Sept. 8. The Cable Advisory Council meets at 4:30 pm on Sept. 10. The Community Protection & Services Committee meets at 5 pm on Sept. 10.

City garbage routes will be delayed one day due to the Labor Day holiday. Monday’s route will be picked up on Tuesday, and so on. This is also a recycling week. Have all garbage and recycling on the curb by 7 am on the morning of your collection.

County of Door: The Finance Committee meets at 2 pm on Sept. 8. The Board of Adjustment meets at 6:30 pm on Sept. 8. The Airport & Parks Committee meets at 9 am on Sept. 9. The Ag & Extension Committee meets at the Peninsula Agricultural Research Station at 1 pm on Sept. 9. The EMS Committee meets at 9 am on Sept. 10. The IS Committee meets at 2 pm on Sept. 10. The Property Committee meets at 9 am on Sept. 11.

Town of Brussels: The town board meets at 7 pm on Sept. 9.

Town of Clay Banks: The town board meets at 6 pm on Sept. 10.

Town of Jacksonport: The Long-Range Planning Committee meets at 6 pm on Sept. 9. The Ad Hoc Environmental Committee will host a public information session on water quality and manure handling at 6 pm on Sept. 14, with Gregory T. Kleinheinz, R.S., Ph.D.,Viessmann Chair of Sustainable Technology, Professor, Environmental Engineering Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh; Bill Schuster and Dale Konkol from the Door County Soil and Water Department; Sue Powers from the Door County Public Health Department.

Town of Liberty Grove: The Plan Commission meets at 7 pm on Sept. 9.

Town of Washington Island: The town board meets at 7 pm on Sept. 9.
