Civility Project’s “Speak Your Peace” Workshops Continue at Sturgeon Bay Library

The Door County Civility Project will host the third session of a four-part series, “Speak Your Peace,” on Monday, March 7. The “Civility in Community” program will be held in the Jane Green Room at the Sturgeon Bay Library from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. All are welcome to join this free interactive discussion.
 Strategies will be discussed that may help elected officials, citizens and community organizations thoughtfully and effectively talk about, learn about, consider and leverage a wide range of ideas and perspectives. The panel includes: Dave Hutchison, who served as the 1st Assembly District representative for three terms, 1995-2001; Judy Crainis a former 16-year member of the Green Bay Board of Education, several years as board president, and former seven-year member of the UW System Board of Regents; 
Rob Burkeworks in Community and Economic Development with UW Extension Services in Door County; Shirley Senarighi is a volunteer with the Door County Civility Project. She is active in the LWV Door County, American Red Cross and PFLAG Door County.
