Clarinet Studio Students to Perform at Bjِrklunden

Lawrence University’s Bjِrklunden will host a concert on Nov. 10 at 1:30 pm with the students from the conservatory’s clarinet studio and guest artists from the Chicago Clarinet Ensemble (CCE).

Rose Sperrazza, founder and director of the ensemble, is Professor of Clarinet at Northeastern Illinois University. She and other members of the CCE will be coaching Lawrence’s clarinet students at Bjِrklunden, in preparation for a Sunday afternoon concert. A varied program of original works and arrangements for multiple clarinets, in myriad combinations, will be performed.

This free concert is sponsored by the Boynton Society and will be held in Bjِrklunden’s Vail Hall. Entrance to the Bjِrklunden lodge is located on Highway 57, south of Baileys Harbor, across from Anschutz Plumbing.
