Classes and Events at Artists Guild

Women Artists is the theme of the monthly ArtSpeak series at Artists Guild in Sturgeon Bay, to be held March 16, 10 am – 12 pm. Jennifer Aldrich will lead the presentation and discussion in honor of Women’s History Month. This program is free and open to the public.

“All About Acrylics” is the subject for the March session of Art Fundamentals on March 23 from 10 am – 12 pm. Acrylic paints were developed in the mid-20th century as a quick-drying, water-soluble alternative to oil paints. Owners and instructors Sarah and Jeff Bradley will give participants a working foundation in the medium and guide them through creating a painting of their own.

Adults of all skill levels are invited to attend. The cost is $30 and includes all materials. Class size is limited; pre-registration is required by March 21.

Artists Guild reminds the public that artists of any level may bring their own materials and join the Life Drawing Guild on Wednesday nights from 6:15 – 8:15 pm to draw a live model. The cost per session is $20 and pre-registration is not required. The current series runs through March 27.

Artists Guild is located at 215 N. Third Ave. For more information, call 920.743.9900 or visit http://www.Artists-Guild.com.
