Classes on Dementia

The NWTC Learning and Innovation Center is partnering with the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Door County to offer free informational seminars about dementia, presented by Sierra Witczak, the ADRC’s dementia-care specialist.

Dementia 101 will meet March 30, 10-11 am, to provide education about dementia and its different forms. Dementia 201 will meet April 13, 10-11:30 am, to focus on strategies for handling challenging behavior and communicating effectively with those who have dementia.
