Clay Bay Pottery Presents ‘Ladies Galore and More’

Clay Bay Pottery celebrates Midsömmar with its new show, Ladies Galore and More. View these new works and meet the artists June 21, 10 am – 7 pm.

Along with new work by Jeanne and David Aurelius, fellow potters Mary Deneen and Martha Winter will contribute uncommon ladies and wall pieces. Peter Deneen’s bowls and vases feature geometric carving in blue and brown glaze tones, and the Georgia clay that Peder Hegland uses give his pieces a distinctive coloring.

Judith Bergerson’s newest paintings reflect nature in vibrant pastel colors. Carl Homstad’s original woodcut prints bring to life precious everyday moments. Kaukauna artist Kristine Landreman has created pins, necklaces and earrings in multiple designs, and potter Rich Meaux’s work includes plates and platters.

Jeanne Aurelius has made an array of decorated bowls and lively ladies to celebrate Midsömmar. She’ll discuss her decorating techniques and demonstrate throwing at the wheel, 1-3 pm.

Enjoy great art, Scandinavian refreshments and Swedish toasts to the longest day of the year at Clay Bay Pottery, 11650 Hwy 42 in Ellison Bay.
