The Clearing Folk School continues its workshop program of one- and two-day classes this fall. Most classes take place at The Clearing Folk School’s Jens Jensen Visitor Center located at 12171 Garrett Bay Road, Ellison Bay, from 9 am to 4 pm through Nov. 4.
Fall workshop program classes are in the arts, fine crafts, natural sciences and humanities and available through early November.
Local glass artist Gary Chaudoir is offering “Sandblasting on Glass.” Roger Kuhns will teach a one-day class “Natural & Geologic History of the Niagara Escarpment” and a two-day writing class as well, titled “Tell Your Story.” Other classes include “The Dead Sea Psalms Scrolls” with Bill Urbrock, “Watercolor Basics” with Kari Anderson, “Door County Mushrooms” with Charlotte Lukes, and “Cultivating Mindfulness” with Beth Coleman. Experience The Clearing Folk School’s unique and fun one- and two-day workshops, all in a peaceful wooded setting.
