The Clearing Holds Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social

What’s more refreshing than an Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social on a warm summer evening? Join The Clearing Folk School’s friends and neighbors at the annual old-fashioned ice cream social July 25. This fun, two-hour event begins at 7 pm at the Jens Jensen Visitor Center, 12171 Garrett Bay Road, Ellison Bay. Sample five flavors of ice cream and one non-dairy sorbet, plus all the fixings including homemade hot fudge made by The Clearing kitchen staff. The ice cream social is free and open to the public. Enjoy a cool treat with old and new friends, students and neighbors as they enjoy the patio and tree-lined path leading to the Buchholz Council Ring bonfire. Guests will also have the opportunity to browse The Clearing Bookstore and Gift Shop that evening.

For more information, contact The Clearing at 920.854.4088 between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday. The Clearing thanks Door County Ice Cream Factory for donating all of the ice cream and sorbet for this free community event.
