Salm, Roth Advance to D3 Sectional

Gibraltar is once again advancing two boys golfers to a sectional.

At Tuesday’s WIAA Division 3 Regional at Golden Sands in Cecil, Vikings sophomore Finn Salm tied for first with a 78, while junior Teddy Roth also qualified individually for next week’s sectional at Hunter’s Glen in Crivitz by placing 11th with an 86.

Gibraltar missed out on qualifying its entire team after placing fifth in the standings.

The top-four teams and the top-four individuals not on a top-four team qualify for the sectional.

Salm and Roth last year had also both advanced to the Division 3 sectional level.
