Clippers Shut Out Blazers in Packerland Soccer

Sturgeon Bay’s boys soccer team recorded another shutout victory in the Packerland Conference on Monday when the Clippers defeated NEW Lutheran, 4-0, at Clark Field.

Kayden Klotz tallied the lone Sturgeon Bay goal in the first half when the Blazers were unable to score on a penalty kick. The Clippers extended their lead in the second half with goals from Klotz, Aldo Rangel and Daniel Wienke.

Sturgeon Bay, which has yet to give up a goal this season in Packerland play, improved its conference record to 7-0 going into Tuesday’s league game at Algoma. The Clippers host another conference game this week on Thursday against Gibraltar/Sevastopol.
