Coldwell Banker Gives TREG Foundation Grant to Habitat for Humanity

Coldwell Banker the Real Estate Group recently presented David Van Dyke, executive director of Door County Habitat for Humanity, a grant in the amount of $500 from the TREG Foundation Fund. Door County Habitat for Humanity has provided 38 homes for families located throughout Door County since the organization was founded in 1993. Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group’s partnership will support Door County Habitat for Humanity’s 39th home build and 12 critical home repair projects planned for this year.

Through a grants committee made up of agents, staff, and management members, that currently includes Jim Adams of the Sturgeon Bay office of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group, the TREG Foundation Fund is able to direct its impact to those causes that have committed themselves to local beneficiaries.

Kathy Sanden of Coldwell Banker’s Egg Harbor office currently sits on the Board of Directors of Door County Habitat for Humanity. According to Sanden, “Any individual or organization interested in partnering on this year’s build or one of the critical home repair projects, should contact the Habitat for Humanity office, 920.743.2869 ext. 4 or [email protected].”

The organization is also in need of additional volunteers for construction (any skill level is welcome), site hostesses, and to prepare snacks and meals for the volunteers. For more information visit doorcountyhabitat.org.
