Collaborative Crafting

Sourced seeks to be a maker-embracing resource for art, accessories, and home decor, and a catalyst for encouraging artistic collaborations and crafty fun. Located on Sturgeon Bay’s historic Third Avenue, in the former Greco Gallery space, it is currently featuring projects that are the result of artists working together.

Vintage collector, artist and shop founder Katie Starr and photographer/painter Andrea Naylor have been cooperating on a project combining Starr’s painted and distressed wood pieces and Naylor’s hand-lettering. Showcasing quotes from writers like Ralph Waldo Emerson, they honor simple wonders like nature and travel. In the future, they plan to collaborate on altered furniture.

Sourced also has an ever-changing curated collection of vintage finds, from Starr and local collector and thrift-shopper extraordinaire Carol Ballje, sure to inspire your own artistic projects. Starr’s newest fun addition is a gumball machine that dispenses vintage buttons; she also has items like painted clipboards that are perfect for adding your own DIY touch.

Sourced is located at 24 N. Third Ave. in downtown Sturgeon Bay. For more information, visit Sourced on Facebook.
