‘Color Brave Photo Project’ Returns

FIT Oshkosh’s traveling exhibit Color-Brave Photo Project: Black and Brown Faces, A New Narrative is making an encore visit courtesy of the Door County Civility Project, HELP of Door County, Hope United Church of Christ, JUST Door County, PFLAG of Door County and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County.

Color-Brave Photo Project features the portraits and personal stories of people of color, including African-Americans, Latinos and Asians.

“The exhibit humanizes its subjects and explains their motivations for making their home in the community in which they live and work,” said Tracey Robertson, executive director of FIT Oshkosh. “This project is a celebration of people of color, their choices and their lives.”

The exhibit will be on display April 29 – May 3 at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. All are invited to a viewing, reception and community conversation facilitated by FIT Oshkosh on April 30, 6 pm.
