Coming up at Crossroads

Examine the amazing structure and function of a hen’s egg during EGGStravaganza on April 21, 2 pm, at the Collins Learning Center at Crossroads at Big Creek. Watch videos, dissect eggs, break eggs, drop eggs from a window and go outside to experiment with these remarkably strong objects.

On April 23, the Door County Master Gardeners Association will host Mark Dwyer, director of horticulture at Janesville’s Rotary Botanical Gardens, when he presents “Garden Mistakes,” a discussion of common landscaping and gardening missteps and how to become a better gardener.

The Collins Learning Center, at 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4 pm daily and by appointment.
