Get the foundation you need to take your story idea to a feature-length screenplay with Jeff Pfeiffer – a playwright, screenwriter, television writer and instructor with more than 10 years’ experience in entertainment and writing. Contributors to the anthology No More Can Fit into the Evening – including poets in the United States, England and elsewhere – will read their poetry. This virtual event is free, but registration is required.

Craft of Writing Series: Plays
Join playwrights Jenny Magnus and Dana L. Stringer for three weekly Zoom talks on the craft of writing plays. Magnus is a writer, performer, musician and director whose plays have been produced at Steppenwolf Theatre, Athenaeum Theatre and more. Stringer is a commissioned playwright, poet and writing instructor whose plays have been staged at the Fade to Black Play Festival, National Black Theatre Festival, Ain’t I a Woman Playfest and elsewhere. The cost is $150 for all three sessions, with a 10% discount for Write On members.
