Community Health Information Programs Focuses Next on Anxiety

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs with “When Anxiety Overwhelms” on June 25 at 4 pm at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay. The speaker is Bonnie Mirkiewicz, Stella Maris Parish Faith Community Nurse.

At times, a low level of anxiety can be beneficial. Anxiety in potentially harmful situations is an alarm that helps us maintain our safety. Anxiety, however, can be more severe and counterproductive. There are anxiety disorders that are best treated with the addition of assistance of a mental health provider.
