Community Invited to Climate Change Coalition of Door County’s Chili Cook-Off

The public is invited to the Climate Change Coalition of Door County’s Chili Dump on Feb. 11, 1 to 3 pm at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall. The coalition will serve chili and invites other chili masters to bring their own favorite chili to compete in a cook-off. To compete, contenders are asked to bring three gallons of their best lip-smacking chili in crockpots or other convenient warming dishes. Patrons can sample the chili and vote for their favorite. The winner will take home a gift basket of meats and treats from Waseda Farms. Those wishing to contend for chili honors should contact Katie Krouse ([email protected]) for complete information. The cost is $10 at the door. All proceeds go to support the public education and climate action programs of the Climate Change Coalition.
