Community Invited to LWV Annual Meeting

The public is invited to join the League of Women Voters of Door County members and friends for its annual meeting on May 15 at Mr. G’s Logan Creek Grille, just south of Jacksonport on Highway 57. The schedule is as follows: 5 pm – registration & happy hour; 5:30 pm – business meeting; 6:15 pm – dinner; 7:15 pm – presentation by Dr. Charley Jacobs, Associate Professor of Judicial Process and American Politics, Pre-Law Adviser, St. Norbert College.

On April 14, Jacobs was interviewed on WPR Ideas network. His current research is a collaborative effort, with St. Norbert professors of political science Dave Wegge and Wendy Scattergood, that explores the public’s preference and perception of the selection of judges to state courts.
