  • Seven Money Management Presentations in 2014

    Thanks to a grant from the Door County Community Foundation during the 2013-14 cycle, Gay Pustaver, Director of Money Management Counselors powered by FI$C, was able to provide educational presentations to 24 retirees attending the Learning in Retirement program and to 119 high school and middle school students from all five county school districts.

  • “Frozen’s” Elsa Visits NDCC

    Christmas arrived early for the toddler, prescholar, and 4K classrooms at Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) in Sister Bay. “Elsa,” the star of Disney’s hit movie Frozen, came for a surprise visit, thrilling her many fans who attend the Children’s Center.

  • Prayer Shawl Blessing at St. Luke’s

    A prayer shawl ministry was created at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Sister Bay in response to Jesus’ call to care for the sick, the lonely, and those who are grieving or hurting.

  • Money Management Counselors Presents to 77 Women

    Thanks to a grant from the Women’s Fund of Door County, Money Management Counselors powered by FI$C was able to provide six new educational presentations to 77 women and girls covering a variety of financial literacy topics during the 2013-14 funding cycle.

    The American Red Cross asks eligible blood donors to make a resolution to give blood regularly in 2015, beginning with National Blood Donor Month in January.
