  • 2014 Door County Scottie Rally Raises $19,000

    Since its inception in 2001 the Door County Scottie Rally has gathered Scottish Terriers, their families and fans from across the globe. The generosity of donors and attendees who have traveled from 38 states, Canada, South Africa and Australia are responsible for generating more than $175,000 for Scottie health research and Scottie rescue.

    Farmers looking to sell into new, local markets and school districts looking to source locally grown foods now have a new means of connecting. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has designed an interactive, multi-platform map of Farm to School activities in Wisconsin.

  • Delayed Opening for Northern Door YMCA Aquatic Center

    The Door County YMCA’s Northern Door Program Center Aquatics Center will reopen Monday, Dec. 8 – not today as was originally scheduled. The Y apologizes for the delayed start up date, but the staff wants to ensure that all aspects of the Aquatics Center are 100% operational.

    Consumers can now sign up for 2015 health insurance plans through HealthCare.gov, the call center, or in-person assistance. With more issuers offering coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace this year, the consumers will find more options for themselves and their families.
