    On Oct. 15 from 5 – 7 pm, the Ephraim Moravian Church will hold its Harvest Table Supper and Bead for Life Fundraiser. The dinner will consist of potatoes with toppings of pulled pork, mushrooms, broccoli, cheese and other vegetarian items.

    National Adoption Month is coming up in November. In recognition of those who go above and beyond to open their hearts and homes and provide “forever families” for youths, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) will present the 2014 Governor’s Outstanding Adoptive Parent Awards, to recognize and thank adoptive parents for their efforts to improve the lives of children.

  • Southern Door FFA Supports Responsible Driving

    On Sept. 22, seven members of the FFA chapter presented an assembly to the high school student body titled “Speak Up to Slow Down.” The overall message was making the responsible choice in regard to driving.

  • Gibraltar Named High-Achieving School

    The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has named the Gibraltar Area School District one of seven High-Achieving Schools in the state as part of the Wisconsin Title I Schools of Recognition awards highlighting schools that have demonstrated success in educating students from low-income families.

  • Halloween Party at Hope Church
