Moravian Church Pancake Breakfast to Benefit Community Clinic
The annual Sister Bay Moravian Church pancake breakfast is scheduled for Aug. 17, 8:30 – 10:30 am. Pancakes with genuine maple syrup, sausage and applesauce will be served.

Sturgeon Bay Rotary Thanks Local Shipbuilders
On June 20 at Sturgeon Bay Rotary’s luncheon meeting, Don Albert and Keith Mutchler, Rotary Shipyard Tour co-chairs, led the club in thanking four local shipbuilders and maritime service agencies for their participation in Rotary’s annual May tour event.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3088 will conduct its annual Buddy Poppy drive Friday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug 3, in Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. Funds raised are used to benefit veterans and their families.

The Boys and Girls Club of Door County will set up five lemonade stands throughout Sturgeon Bay on Friday, Aug. 2. Since June, members (ages 6-10) have been planning for the lemonade stands during the Club’s summer program.

On Aug. 2, members of the Boys and Girls Club of Door County will set up five lemonade stands throughout Sturgeon Bay. Stands will be set up at First Merit Bank, Appliances Plus, Door County Traders, Pick N Save and Bay Pharmacy from 11:30 am – 1 pm.

Rev. Michael Blair Conducts Special Service at Bethany Lutheran Church
The community is invited to hear Rev. Michael Blair, campus pastor at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, on Aug. 4 at Bethany Lutheran Church. Rev. Blair, the visiting pastor at Bethany, will also conduct a special evening service titled “Finding Our Way” on Aug.

Jacksonport Historical Society Holds Historic Cabins Walk
Eighteen homes will be featured in Jacksonport Historical Society’s (JHS) Historic Cabins Walk on Aug. 5. The all-day event is divided into three segments of 90 minutes each, starting at 9:15 am and ending at 3:30 pm.

Wellness Works Roundtable Scheduled for August 7
The second annual Wellness Works Roundtable is set for Aug. 7, 8 – 9:30 am, at the Sturgeon Bay City Hall Community Room. Erik Elliott Awarded Door Property Owners Scholarship

Swing-a-Thon Raises Over $2,000
Swingers at Shepherd of the Bay Church in Sister Bay raised $2,200 in a 24-hour Swing-a-Thon to benefit the Door County Habitat for Humanity.
