Comstock Honored in Richeson 75 International Art Competition

“Alpha,” an oil painting by Door County artist Jan Comstock (jancomstock.com), has earned a Meritorious Selection in the Richeson 75 International Art Competition and will be featured in a full-color, hardcover, collectible book, Animals, Birds & Wildlife 2019.

Comstock photographed the white wolf at a wildlife preserve in South Dakota and named the painting “Alpha” because this wolf watched her every move while the rest of the pack slept.
