“Miss Amy, Miss Amy, I have to…” she hears all day
From toddlers learning, running and loving to play
Her music choices get everyone dancing
As many kids she keeps on balancing

The discovery table is full of surprises
For little boys and girls to learn with all shapes and sizes
Today they might travel to the beach by train
Because outside there is snow or there is rain

Sometimes you’ll find her pushing smiling faces on swings
Or making sure they are taking turns with toys and other fun things
She makes it look easy with people so small
As active as they are when they’re playing ball

A run around the playground or a walk through the hallways
Miss Amy is there for the children always
With a hug goodbye she sends them away
Happy to see them again another day
