Congratulations to Stacey Volkman, Valmy Happy Hour

Stacey Volkmann is her name
and food service is her game.
Six days a week she is at work
at the Valmy Happy Hour with husband Kirk.

But I’ve written this poem just because
that’s only part of what she does.
Brings the Meals on Wheels food to Northern Door,
but that’s not all, there still is more.

Three days a week serves us seniors all
up at the Liberty Grove Town Hall.
Remembers birthdays without fail,
sends greeting cards out through the mail.

Makes holidays special, too, you see
with extra treats or a lighted tree.
So I invite you seniors to join us here,
Monday, Wednesday, Friday throughout the year.

Call the Senior Center for a reservation,
from cooking at home take a vacation.
Stacey would welcome each one of you
as you enjoy good food and fellowship, too.
